Description:

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Sorter/Packer to join their team. As a Sorter/Packer, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the production line. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, physical stamina, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sorter/Packer

Location: Knoxville, TN

Pay Range: $15

Shift: 7 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, with some Fridays as half days

What's the Job?

  • Sorting material into individual bunkers based on grade of material

  • Executing housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment

  • Participating actively in Health and Safety Programs

  • Performing daily maintenance checks on equipment and completing related paperwork

  • Ensuring cleanliness of the sort line, including blowing out radiators and intake filters

What's Needed?

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time

  • Ability to twist, use hands and arms to sort material

  • Ability to identify different materials accurately

  • Must be fully cleared prior to start

  • Steel toe shoes required for safety
