Selector
Pay Rate/Range: $21.00 to $22.00
Hours: Mon - Thurs 6:00 p.m. to complete (avg 9.5 hours a day)
Location: Alcoa, TN
Duration: 3 months
Main Responsibilities

• Safely and accurately select customer orders
• Build and wrap pallets to meet weekly productivity and accuracy standards
• Perform pre-shift equipment inspections
• Safely operate an electric pallet jack
• Move products from racks to pallets as directed by order selecting software and equipment
• Validate correct product selection and ensure products are free from damage
• Deliver products efficiently to the correct dock area and shrink-wrap palletized orders
• Work as a team to clear aisles of debris
• Stack empty pallets from aisle slots and return pallet jacks to the charging area

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in a multi-temperature environment ranging from -5°F to over 100°F
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 20 to 80+ pounds repeatedly
• Ability to move 1,000+ cases of product per shift

Required Qualifications

• Ability to read and communicate in English for training, conversations, safety instructions, coaching, label reading, and report entry
• Ability to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday-Thursday from 6:00 PM until completion
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as required
