The Maintenance Lead is essential in overseeing the planning, maintenance, and repair of project facilities and equipment. You will be responsible for scheduling daily and weekly work tasks, determining the necessary parts and resources, and ensuring everything runs smoothly in our CMMS system (Asset Essentials).

This role reports to the Maintenance Manager and involves working closely with maintenance technicians and collaborating with other supervisors and personnel for daily project maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance activities for personnel
  • Organize project outages and prioritize work scopes accordingly
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and develop repair plans
  • Procure necessary parts and equipment to support maintenance activities
  • Manage inventory of parts and ensure necessary tools and vendor instructions are available for repairs
  • Administer a maintenance plan that aligns with vendor recommendations and procedures for all equipment
  • Implement and maintain the preventive maintenance program, including tracking equipment failure records
  • Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) processes
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors regarding parts and services
  • Process defective parts returns and manage invoicing and procurement
  • Maintain organized storage areas and ensure timely reordering of parts
  • Update maintenance KPIs on the daily MDI board
  • Schedule preventive maintenance contractors for various systems (Chiller, HVAC, etc.)
  • Perform additional tasks as required

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Proficiency in computer usage for data management is required
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is necessary
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing or inventory management
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work efficiently under pressure while providing excellent customer service
  • Capability to work independently and complete assignments effectively
  • Familiarity with Radius, SAP, or other management systems is required
  • Forklift operation experience is preferred
