JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a friendly, motivated and dependable Dishwasher to join our kitchen staff at Fins and Chill Bar , located at the Margaritaville Island Hotel on the Island in Pigeon Forge, TN. Love your job at a place that is a blend of “Mountain Latitude” and “Island Attitude”. You will play an important role in maintaining the cleanliness within the kitchen and around the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas
• Load and unload dishwashing machines
• Wash specific items by hand, such as wooden cutting boards and large pots
• Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately
• Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours
• Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g. detergents)
• Check washing machines' operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues
• Remove garbage regularly
• Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor

Requirements

• Work experience as a Dishwasher or as Wait Staff
• Hands-on experience with industrial washing machines
• Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks, as needed
• Time management skills
• Attention to detail and sanitation rules
• Availability of working in shifts, during weekends, evenings and holidays
• High school diploma or GED

Job Type: Part-time / Full-time / 8hr shifts Pay: Starting $16.00 per hour
