Lyonsview Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking for a detailed orientated Housekeeper to join our Environmental Service team in Knoxville, TN. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for the cleanliness and sanitization of the community and the safety of our residents, and staff.

This position is full time working 7:00AM-3:30PM.

Job Requirements:

• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience
• Knowledge of cleaning practices, supplies and equipment use
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Physical ability to stand, walk lift and carry supplies and equipment
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Responsibilities may include:

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and facility offices
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust resident care areas and hallways on a routine schedule
• Empty trash and dispose of waste safely
• Change bed linens, make beds, and restock resident rooms with necessary supplies
• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, lounges, and nursing stations
• Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely
