Role & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for establishing material planning for the organization and for developing forecasts to support the Sales and Operations Plan, inventory and customer service objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a stable material planning process by interpreting client forecasted demand and backlog, while ensuring revenue targets are met.
  • Responsible for defining and executing procedures and techniques that develop best-practices material planning, while also balancing operational execution and other requirements.
  • Works closely with sales to obtain sales forecasting and manages forecast performance for sales accountability.
  • Manage and monitor inventory levels for both the "Consumables" and "Service" lines of business and to ensure inventory goals are maintained and excess inventory does not accumulate and best practices are followed.
  • Blanket Order Management
  • Works closely with Production Scheduler to determine in which sequence products will be manufactured.
  • Assist in the development of a domestic parts sourcing plan for our Service line of business.
  • Support and uphold the Nobelus Product Safety Program by following procedures and maintaining a clean, safe work environment to ensure product integrity and customer safety.
Schedule: 8AM - 5PM EST

Pay: $33 - $37 / Hour

POTENTIAL TO EARN MONTHLY AND QUARTERLY BONUSES!

Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree, ideally in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management or equivalent experience
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in planning and scheduling or as a material buyer in a manufacturing environment.
  • 3 years of ERP experience is required. Infor experience highly desired.
  • Extensive knowledge of capacity, materials planning, inventory management
  • Ability to execute the weekly/monthly planning cycle, maintain long-term forecasts to improve material forecast accuracy.
  • Proficiency in MS Office required
  • Solid understanding of supply chain management and the process flow of materials.
  • Strong planning, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills. Must have the ability to successfully communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization and to the outside supplier base.
  • Must be able to recognize, organize and prioritize material issues for timely resolution in a fast-paced environment.
  • APICS certifications or similar highly desired
