Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent

Requirements:
• Zero to one year of related warehouse, shipping, or materials handling experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Valid state driver's license

Preferred Requirements:
• Ability to understand basic written, oral, or diagram-based instructions
• Basic reading, writing, and organizational skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties:
• Receive, inspect, and prepare incoming materials for inventory entry
• Verify quantity and condition of materials and report discrepancies
• Load and unload boxes, pallets, and materials onto trucks for delivery
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of goods shipped and received using computer systems
• Sort and store materials on racks or shelves according to established procedures
• Assist with physical inventory counts to ensure proper stock levels
• Label materials using appropriate identification methods (e.g., barcodes)
• Prepare parcels for mailing and pallets for outbound shipping
• Coordinate with vendors or suppliers regarding quotes and delivery schedules as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and work area, including basic janitorial tasks
• Meet both standard and expedited Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

Job Summary:
The Warehouse / Materials Associate is responsible for supporting daily shipping, receiving, and inventory management operations. This role ensures accurate handling, storage, and distribution of materials, supplies, and equipment while maintaining inventory accuracy and meeting established Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team-based warehouse environment.
