Position Overview

As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of assets, personnel, clients, and visitors at designated sites under the guidance of your Account Manager or Branch Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safeguard the client's interests by ensuring a secure environment within the facility.
  • Monitor for signs of criminal activity or disorder and respond to disturbances promptly.
  • Document daily activities and incidents as per training guidelines and submit reports to appropriate contacts.
  • Conduct routine patrols in accordance with specific post orders.
  • Manage and control access to properties as per established protocols.
  • Respond to emergencies as directed in post orders and inform the necessary authorities.
  • Report any breaches of company policy and applicable local or federal laws outlined in the Employee Handbook.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Prepare for extended periods of standing and prolonged hours of work.
  • Be adaptable to additional duties as required by the client and specific post needs.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a High School Graduate or possess a GED.
  • Minimum age of 21 years.
  • Clean criminal record with the ability to obtain required state licensing.
  • Physically capable of standing and walking for long periods.
  • Must be fit enough to lift, push, or carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong customer service and communication abilities.
  • Military veterans and former law enforcement officers are encouraged to apply.
