South College Human Resource Department is seeking a technically skilled HRIS Specialist to join our Human Resources Information System initiatives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage and optimize our HR information systems, ensuring data accuracy, security, and efficiency. HRIS Specialist Description

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR Technology strategies that align with the organization's objectives.

• Oversee the implementation of new HRIS technologies and upgrades, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.

• Collaborate with HR and IT departments to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations.

• Collaborate with HR team members to identify system needs and enhancements.

• Analyze HR data and metrics and generate reports to provide insights and recommendations

• Serve as the primary point of contact for HRIS-related inquiries and issues, providing timely resolutions.

• Conduct training sessions for HR staff and end-users to maximize system utilization and efficiency.

• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in HRIS and technology to recommend improvements.

• Manage and maintain the HRIS, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

• Develop business cases for implementations/enhancements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field

• Master's degree in HRIS preferred

• HRIP preferred

• SHRM preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in HRIS.

• Experience with HRIS software and tools, Paylocity Experience preferred

• Proven experience as an HRIS Analyst or in a similar role.
