SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Investment Advisor is committed to providing exceptional service and will be responsible for constructing and managing investment portfolios at Pinnacle Asset Management. This role involves advising clients and delivering financial counsel that aligns with their objectives, time frames, and risk appetites.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver exceptional service to clients and prospects, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Uphold our standard of answering all calls within three rings.
  • Balance client acquisition, sales activities, investment management, client service, and compliance while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Achieve production targets that contribute to company revenue goals.
  • Manage comprehensive client relationships by assessing financial needs, investment possibilities, current holdings, and available capital, while identifying investment goals.
  • Develop a robust client pipeline through networking, community engagement, collaborations, and niche development.
  • Recommend suitable investment products, solutions, and services based on clients' needs and preferences.
  • Leverage internal expertise to uncover investment opportunities and solutions for clients.
  • Facilitate account transactions including opening, transferring, and closing accounts while maintaining accurate records.
  • Monitor client portfolios and suggest adjustments based on market changes and clients' evolving needs.
  • Process client instructions regarding buy/sell orders and ensure completion of transactions.
  • Complete required training and certifications within set timelines, mastering assessments, and meeting minimum performance standards.
  • Explain securities markets and the key factors influencing them.
  • Address all financial needs of clients, referring them to specialized services such as Trust, Investments, Insurance, etc., as appropriate.
  • Support colleagues to ensure delivery of exceptional service.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent; a college degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the financial services sector, ideally in Asset Management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite or relevant software.
  • Demonstrated sales success.
  • Possession of Series 7 and Series 63/65 or Series 66 licenses.
  • Understanding of Asset Management products, policies, and procedures.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong sales, negotiation, problem-solving, and interpersonal capabilities.
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Outstanding client service abilities, with tact and diplomacy in interactions.
  • Physical demands include prolonged periods of sitting and standing, manual dexterity, mental concentration, and the ability to perform various physical tasks.
