Patient Scheduler - Hospitals/Pulmonary Services
Knoxville, TN (west) | Full-Time / $18/hr

Are you a natural problem-solver with a passion for helping others? Do you thrive in a fast-paced call center environment and have experience of providing support to patients in a kind and courteous manner? If so, we want to talk to YOU!

What You'll Do:

  • Answer incoming calls in a helpful and understanding way
  • Resolve issues with empathy and accuracy
  • Keep records updated (medical records/database)
  • Assist with charge entry and coding
  • Delegates outgoing phone calls (Appointment confirmations, referrals, pre-certs, etc.)
What You Bring:
  • 1+ year of heavy call volume experience
  • Comfortable working with computer systems and knowledge of medical office procedures
  • Clear communication and strong attention to detail
  • Works well with others (physicians, patients and staff)
  • High School Diploma or GED
