Patient Scheduler - Hospitals/Pulmonary Services
Knoxville, TN (west) | Full-Time / $18/hr
Are you a natural problem-solver with a passion for helping others? Do you thrive in a fast-paced call center environment and have experience of providing support to patients in a kind and courteous manner? If so, we want to talk to YOU!
What You'll Do:
- Answer incoming calls in a helpful and understanding way
- Resolve issues with empathy and accuracy
- Keep records updated (medical records/database)
- Assist with charge entry and coding
- Delegates outgoing phone calls (Appointment confirmations, referrals, pre-certs, etc.)
- 1+ year of heavy call volume experience
- Comfortable working with computer systems and knowledge of medical office procedures
- Clear communication and strong attention to detail
- Works well with others (physicians, patients and staff)
- High School Diploma or GED
