We are excited to invite candidates to apply for our Process Technician Apprenticeship opportunities as part of our U.S. Apprenticeship Program. This 2-3 year program provides hands-on work experience at our chemical plants while you earn a company-paid Associate's degree at a community college. You'll receive paid tuition, competitive wages, and benefits. Upon successful completion, you will be considered for full-time employment within the company.

Successful candidates will need to commit to work with Dow for two years after completing the program. The starting hourly pay for this role is at least $22.62, with the final rate confirmed upon receiving an offer. The expected hire date is June 8th, 2026, but may extend to August 3rd, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate equipment in assigned areas of the plant while ensuring safe and efficient operations.
  • Monitor and adjust control systems to maintain product quality and safety.
  • Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.
  • Comply with safety protocols and procedures at all times.
  • Assist with project work and follow operating disciplines diligently.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • A minimum completion of Algebra and Technical Math in High School; Chemistry or Physics is preferred.
  • Must be 18 years or older by the start date.
  • Valid U.S. driver's license required.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Skills:

  • Willingness to learn and actively engage in training.
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to handle maintenance tasks.
  • Commitment to environmental health and safety standards.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members.
