JOB SUMMARY:
As a Quality Inspector, you will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity of our production process by inspecting components, parts, and products according to applicable specifications and quality assurance instructions. Your keen eye will help identify quality issues related to design and processes to ensure compliance with stringent quality standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct thorough examinations and quality control inspections on products, materials, and components at various stages of production to ensure they meet established quality and reliability standards.
- Analyze statistical data from processes to confirm compliance with established standards or identify deviations.
- Perform visual inspections of soldered connections and mechanical inspections of electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
- Prepare and complete all necessary documentation for reporting.
- Make acceptance or rejection decisions on inspected and/or tested items.
- Identify design, process or other inefficiencies and communicate quality concerns.
- Conduct routine quality inspections on engineering designs, assemblies, piece parts, final assemblies, and tooling.
- Engage in internal audits and follow up on corrective actions.
- Take on additional responsibilities as required.
- Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Be prepared to work evenings, weekends, and additional hours as needed.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A relevant combination of education and work experience that leads to successful job performance.
Certifications:
- Vocational training, apprenticeships, or equivalent experience in a related field.
Experience:
- 2-5 years of relevant experience.
Skills:
- Ability to follow established job instructions and procedures with minimal supervision.
- A systematic QA approach to solving technical issues.
- Skilled in measuring and utilizing various test equipment as per job assignment.
- Capable of interpreting and following written and verbal instructions, including engineering diagrams and sketches.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Note: Salary range information applies to California. Compensation depends on various factors including experience, qualifications, and market considerations. Pay Range: $20.10/hour - $30.10/hour.
