Position Summary: Greets, assists, and directs all incoming telephone calls, visitors, and other customers. Responsibilities include answering phones, routing callers, taking messages, providing general information, greeting customers, visitors, and patients, determining the nature of their business, assisting visitors and guests to various locations on the FSW campus, responding to member requests, inquiries, and concerns, checking members/guests into the Fitness Center, distributing keys and equipment, managing program enrollment/money transactions, cooperating in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the front desk, assisting with Perkville Rewards program, preparing daily deposit/cash drawer report, assisting other departments as needed, participating in special fitness center events, following policies, procedures, and safety standards, completing required education assignments annually, and performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Minimum Education: None specified; will accept any combination of formal education and/or prior work experience sufficient to demonstrate possession of the knowledge, skill and ability needed to perform the essential tasks of the job, typically such as would be equivalent to a high school diploma or GED. Preference may be given to individuals possessing a HS diploma or GED. Minimum Experience: None. Licensure Requirement: None.
