Front of House is responsible for providing guests with a Welcome Home atmosphere upon greeting and seating the guest while providing a 5-star experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Greet and interact with guests upon arrival for Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner
Ensure that all requests and dietary special needs have been communicated to the Dining Room prior to service
Be responsive and proactive to guest needs
Set the tone & atmosphere
Have an open body language and accessible personality
Have a positive and outgoing attitude
Prepare tickets, traces, charts for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner Services
Correct and adjust menus according to the Executive Chefs needs daily
Print menus and prepare host stand for service
Assist in the delivery of Room Service needs
Prepare Three Sisters for service with lights, music, and aesthetic needs
Service guests with food and beverage requests anywhere on the property
Communicate all internal information regarding guests to the Dining Room Manager
Must be able to work well with other team members and managers
Remain calm under high-pressure situations
Must be guest focus orientated
Provide detailed knowledge of Menu descriptions to team members and guests
Take Room Service orders from guests
Escort guests rather than pointing
All dining room positions will be asked to perform additional sanitation procedures throughout their shift in order to comply with COVID-19 guidance.
Must comply with all company policies and procedures.
To perform the essential functions of this position regular and consistent attendance in required.
Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers and interact with our guests.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience working with the general public
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must have excellent verbal communication skills
Must be able to effectively communicate with guests, team members and guests
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Basic math skills
REASONING ABILITY
Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs
Must be able to be on feet for a long period of time
Must be able to safely operate a company vehicle or golf cart
