Become the Nutrition Specialist You Aspire to Be

  • Provide counseling and communicate with patients as per physician orders and dietary guidelines.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals involved in patient care.
  • Evaluate referral orders to assess nutrition intake adequacy.
  • Document relevant information in patients' medical records according to established standards.
  • Implement nutritional care plans, tailor menus, and assist patients with specific dietary needs.
  • Conduct calorie assessments and make thoughtful recommendations.
  • Review, revise, and approve menus for their nutritional sufficiency.


Qualifications Needed

  • Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association.
  • State licensure is mandatory.
  • Membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics is preferred.
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Food & Nutrition from an accredited institution.
  • Preferred: One year of experience in Clinical Dietetics.
