DISHWASHER RESPONSIBILITIES

At O'Charley's, we seek enthusiastic Dishwashers who are friendly and possess excellent communication skills. We're looking for organized individuals who can think on their feet and maintain composure even in busy environments. A sense of urgency and a commitment to high quality standards are essential. You should take pride in your appearance and be dedicated to supporting the team, demonstrating integrity and honesty in everything you do.

DUTIES

• Set up and clean dishwashing machines, ensuring all components are in working order.
• Wash and store all dishes, small wares, and glasses according to O'Charley's standards.
• Presoak, rack, and wash silverware while checking water temperature for optimal cleaning.
• Regularly inspect trash for items like silverware and assist with waste disposal.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dishroom and storage areas.
• Work collaboratively with fellow team members, especially Line Cooks, to keep the kitchen area efficient and tidy.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by a manager.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Able to speak and comprehend the primary language used at work. Standing for extended periods and moving throughout the kitchen is necessary. Must demonstrate fast-paced mobility for up to five hours at a time. Capability to bend, stoop, lift, and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds regularly. Comfortable working in environments with wet floors, temperature variances, and loud noises.
