Your Contribution to Cardinal Health:
Warehouse Operations involves executing a variety of manual or automated tasks that are crucial for the receipt, storage, and shipment of products. This includes receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, and delivering products efficiently to meet the needs of our internal and external customers.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED preferred
Good written communication skills
1-2 years of experience preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred
Expectations at This Level:
Utilize acquired knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks
Effectively learn and implement new information and methods in your work
Maintain required licenses, training, and certifications
Handle standard assignments with some problem-solving when necessary
Work within established standard operating procedures
Adhere to quality guidelines
Operate under moderate supervision
Your work will be regularly reviewed by a supervisor
Direct complex issues to your supervisor
Core Responsibilities:
Follow established processes to accurately fulfill orders, including picking products, conducting quality checks, packing items, and preparing shipments.
Participate in cross-training in multiple warehouse areas and engage in projects as needed.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment through regular housekeeping and inventory control tasks.
Be prepared to train and obtain certification for operating material handling equipment, including order pickers, forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and more as required.
