Our client, a leading distribution center in the retail industry, is seeking a Warehouse Operator to join their team. As a Warehouse Operator, you will be part of the warehouse operations team supporting various logistical functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Warehouse Operator
Location: Rockford, TN
Pay Range: $19/hr
Shift: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday
What's the Job?
- Support tasks such as Picking, Packing/Auditing, Loading, Replenishment, Cycle Counting, and Receiving/Putaway functions
- Operate and maintain forklift certification to ensure safe handling of materials
- Interact with team members across departments to reconcile open issues and ensure smooth operations
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
- Provide feedback to supervisors and team leads on daily operations and process improvements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Computer skills required, including experience with warehouse management systems
- Minimum of 3 years of material handling experience with equipment such as Stand Up Dock Truck, Order/Stock Picker, Sit-down Forklift, Tugger/Cart, Walkie Rider, or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience working in a high-volume distribution or large retail environment
- Ability to multi-task and stay detail-oriented in a fast-paced setting
