Recruiter I

Job Profile: JP00068

Position Summary: The primary responsibility of the Recruiter is to ensure staffing needs are met to maximize production capacity. Additionally, the recruiter will serve as a functional team member in the Team Member Experience department.

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Develop, facilitate, and implement all phases of the recruitment process

• Utilize recruitment software and technology to attract top talent

• Identify candidates using internal and external databases/job boards, career fairs

• Conduct pre-employment assessments

• Coordinate the selection, acquisition, onboarding, and orientation of new TMs

• Aid in training initiatives

• Draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria

• Screen, process, and communicate with candidates, schedule interviews, create and deliver verbal/formal offers and serve as liaison during negotiations

• Build relationships with candidates and hiring managers

• Data entry/professional administrative disposition and demeanor

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Desire to communicate to and set clear job expectations for candidates

• Manage the internal Career Pathway Program

• Coordinate and deliver instruction for New Team Member Orientation

• Ability to make presentations to large groups of applicants

• Conduct behavioral based interviews and select candidates based on four pillars of success: quality, safety, cultural values, and housekeeping

• Understanding of the business dynamic, products, services Clayton provides

• Familiarity with social media and the internet and leverage for recruiting efforts

• Knowledge of employment laws

• Manage day-to-day efforts that improve team member experiences

• Manage internship/apprenticeship programs

• Strong attention to detail and impeccable follow through

• Demonstration of personal judgement in the execution of duties

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 4 Year Degree in human resources, business, or other related discipline preferred

• 0-2 years' prior experience in full cycle recruiting, high-volume experience preferred

• Microsoft Office Suite, email, multi-line phone usage, recruitment software

• Ability to effectively manage multiple recruitment platforms and multiple candidates at one time

• Strong understanding of business goals and standards for customer service

• Prior experience recruiting in manufacturing environment preferred

• Experience with applicant tracking system

• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

• Work may require stooping, bending, crouching, crawling, pushing, and / or pulling.

• Must be able to communicate with others via phone, email, and in person. Must be able to exchange accurate information with others.

• Work environment is not temperature controlled and may result in exposure to extreme temperatures.

• Work primarily involves sitting / standing, up to 4 hours at a time
