Parts/Shipping & Receiving Associate

FESCO is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Parts/Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team in Knoxville, TN.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide prompt, professional customer service at the parts counter and for online parts inquiries.
• Perform parts research for counter and online customers.
• Take and process parts orders accurately.
• Interact with parts department personnel to resolve discrepancies and ensure order accuracy.
• Accurately pick parts to fill orders.
• Inspect and verify orders against original documentation prior to shipment.
• Ensure work orders are set up correctly and that accurate information appears on pick slips.
• Record discrepancies and prepare shipping reports for shortages or damages.
• Package materials for shipment.
• Ship outgoing materials, products, and supplies.
• Determine proper shipping methods, coordinate with trucking companies, and complete required manifests.
• Set up truck shipments and print Bills of Lading.
• Combine and route AIR transfers to the correct location.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Receive and inspect incoming inventory.
• Stock inventory and maintain accurate counts.
• Place non-stock and new stock items in proper warehouse locations.
• Perform inventory cycle counts and FIFO checks.
• Replenish high-moving products from overflow areas.
• Investigate inventory variances.
• Inspect and process vendor returns prior to shipping.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment.
• Follow all prescribed safety regulations and accident prevention procedures, including health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Experience performing Shipping & Receiving
• Forklift Certified a plus
• Clean Driving Record
• Strong communications & customer service skills
• Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen is required.
• Valid Driver's license and driving record that align with our safety standards.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
