Job Summary:
The position of Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and servicing guest rooms in order to provide an exceptional experience for guests. This position makes sure that all rooms are inviting and clean to the highest standards. The Room Attendant is also required to make sure all issues and damages are reported promptly to the appropriate department so the problem can be handled right away.

General Responsibilities

• Attend morning huddles
• Consistently offers professional, friendly, and engaging service.
• Ensures housekeeping departmental standards are followed.
• Responds timely to guests' special requests for miscellaneous items.
• Maintains inventory of necessary supplies.
• Follows departmental policies and procedures.
• Follows all safety and sanitation policies
• Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
• Performs additional duties as needed

• Must be able to lift 25 pounds; (with or without accommodation)
• Ability to stand, walk, or kneel for a long period of time
• 1 year of housekeeping experience is preferred, but not necessary.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Customer-focused with a warm and approachable demeanor.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintains a professional appearance and mannerisms.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to work on holidays and weekends.
