Are you looking for a career opportunity in Knoxville, TN? Utility Staffing Group is currently hiring Pipe Layer | Utility Worker positions for local established company.

This job will help you perfect and sharpen your skills in Commercial Excavation, Lateral Line Bursting, Waterline Bursting, Storm Drainage, and Sanitary Sewer Systems.

Key duties and details for Pipe Layer | Utility Worker:

• Replace and lay new water/sewer mains, and open trench utility construction
• Assemble and connect pipe systems for water mains, sewers and drains
• Inspect the ground, dig pipe trenches, and seal pipe joints with cement glue
• Pay rate: $21 - $25/hr
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am -5pm
• Temp-to-Hire

Qualifications for Pipe Layer | Utility Worker:

• Must have knowledge of sewer systems, storm drains and water mains
• Must have experience with machine operated trenching tools
• Ability to read blueprints and city maps
• Must have experience replacing and laying new water/sewer mains, and open trench utility construction and trench-less pipe repair
• Must have at least two years of experience in underground utilities
• Must have the ability to climb up and down ladders, into trenches and manholes
• Must have valid driver's license
