Administrative Support Aid

This position will serve as an Administrative Support Aid to assist in the daily operations of the VolCard Office and Campus Vending. This position will provide service to students and staff on an acceptable level. This position is responsible for incoming calls to the VolCard Office, ID production and account payments. The Administrative Support will verify Vending Commissions for incoming Commission Statements, and will respond and report all Vending calls to appropriate Vendors.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Service that includes answering the telephone and waiting on customers.
  • Provide specific information regarding VolCard access, IDs, VolCard accounts and eligibility, and institutional policies and procedures.
  • Direct questions outside the realm of the VolCard Office to the appropriate personnel.
  • Verifying Commission Statements, applying credits and debits to the VolCard Accounts, either departmental accounts or individual accounts
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Knowledge of cash handling and strong customer skills and familiar with Campus environment background.
  • The Administrative Support Aid must be knowledgeable in Customer Service
  • Proficient in a multi- telephone line environment.
  • Must have basic cashiering knowledge
  • Computer skills
  • General accounting knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 year in a Campus Office familiar with Banner, LDAP and Campus Gold
