As a Customer Service Agent, you will play a critical role in the mortgage escrow process by facilitating payments to insurance carriers on behalf of banking institutions.
You will utilize proprietary software to generate and apply payments through various channels, including carrier websites, automated phone systems, and direct conversations with carrier representatives. Success in this role provides a clear path to Customer Service Representative positions with increased responsibilities.
salary: $17.99 - $18 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School
Responsibilities
- Execute payments via web portals, automated phone systems, and direct dialogue with carrier customer service representatives.
- Interface with CRM-based software to accurately update payment statuses and track daily workload progress.
- Research payment methods and follow internal procedures for loss drafts and resolutions.
- Escalate complex issues to team leads immediately upon discovery.
- Support team goals and handle other tasks as assigned by leadership.
