Fixed Equipment Maintenance Technician

Salary: $40 - $45 per hour

Responsibilities:

Basic technical knowledge and skills, including an understanding of stationary maintenance concepts

Perform structural repair or replacement of equipment parts

Perform basic drive/component alignment

Competent in pipe fitting from 4" and larger

Ability to change/rebuild pump barrel-Goulds and 4GT IR pumps

Ability to splice conveyor belts

Ability to pack Goulds and 4GT IR Pumps

Basic pump troubleshooting

Competent in Grid coupling alignment

Assist in replacing conveyer belts

Assist in full shaft, hoist, crusher, and compressor rebuild

Perform basic shaft and hoist repairs

Perform LOTO

Basic rigging and weight handling

Basic housekeeping functions

Basic communication and interpersonal skills and a "team-oriented" approach to the achievement of tasks

Proficiency in relevant software

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED

Appropriate trade or related qualification in maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical equipment or a related discipline

Experience in welding is preferred

Experience reading blue prints and fabricating from those blueprints

Experience burning using the appropriate technique/cutter

Ability to use layout/measurement tools

Able to read micrometers
