Cath Lab Technologist (RCIS) - Travel Contract | Powell, TN (near Knoxville)
Cath Lab Technologist (RCIS) - Travel Contract in Powell, TN: 13-week cardiac cath lab travel job; CCI RCIS required and 2+ years of cath lab experience. Join a high-performing interventional cardiology team in a state-of-the-art cardiac cath lab supporting cardiac catheterization and vascular access procedures.
Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,260 - $2,430
- Location: Powell, TN 37849 (north of Knoxville; Knoxville-area travel cath lab job)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 13, 2026 - July 13, 2026)
- Shift: 10-hour days (6:00am - 4:30pm)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Call: One night per week and every third weekend (must be available July 4th weekend)
- Scrubs: Hospital-laundered Malibu Blue (white non-fleece jacket optional)
- EMR: Cerner
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Tech or Cardiovascular Technologist in a cardiac cath lab or interventional cardiology setting
- CCI RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification required
- BLS required; ALS may be obtained within 90 days of start
- Proven ability to scrub and circulate during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
- Must be able to start ASAP and successfully complete facility credentialing
- Travel assignment requirement: travelers must live more than 50 miles from the facility (eligible for travel cath lab jobs)
- Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization procedures, including scrubbing and circulating for interventional cardiology cases
- Monitor patient status during procedures and deliver high-quality clinical care following sterile technique
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Cerner EMR
- Participate in the on-call rotation (one night per week; every third weekend)
- Collaborate closely with physicians, RNs, and the multidisciplinary cardiac care team
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control procedures
