Description:

A contract opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist to support student mental health and academic success in Sevierville, TN. This role involves working collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals to assess, diagnose, and provide interventions for studentswith diverse learning and behavioral needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify student strengths and areas of concern
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Provide counseling and support services to students individually and in groups
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to recommend strategies that promote positive educational outcomes
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and maintain thorough documentation of services delivered
Desired Qualifications:
  • Valid state licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings
  • Strong understanding of assessment tools and psychological testing methods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with students, families, and school staff
  • Ability to manage caseloads efficiently while providing compassionate care
