Inventory Controller

We're looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Controller to support our shipping, receiving, and inventory operations. This role includes both hands-on physical work and computer-based administrative tasks. You'll help ensure materials and specimens are handled, stored, and documented accurately and safely.

Receive, document, and organize materials, supplies, and specimens.

Perform shipping, receiving, and inventory tasks using computer systems and phones.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues with incoming and outgoing shipments.

Keep storage areas organized and maintain inventory accuracy.

Prepare and maintain shipping records.

Follow all safety and PPE requirements.

Help maintain the facility and handle biohazard waste safely.

Lift up to 50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and bending.

Complete other assigned duties as needed.

High School diploma or equivalent

Basic computer skills

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Comfortable with frequent physical activity (walking, standing, bending)

Occasional exposure to hazardous chemicals, extreme temperatures, and bloodborne pathogens

Experience with SAP

Previous material handling or maintenance experience

Microsoft Office and data entry experience

Knowledge of inventory tools such as RF scanners

Shipping and receiving experience

This is a fast-paced, 100% onsite lab environment with frequent interruptions. PPE is required. You'll work primarily on your feet and may occasionally be exposed to extreme temperatures or biohazard materials.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Knoxville, TN.

The pay range for this position is $16.30 - $16.30/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Knoxville, TN.
