MRI Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are currently seeking a part-time, remote after training, MRI Accounts Receivable Specialist who is committed to providing superior service and eager to grow within a highly respected orthopaedic practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor claims to ensure timely processing
• Reading and understanding medical policies
• Gather, review, and forward medical records for medical necessity, reconsiderations, and appeals
• Work monthly AR reports, claim rejections and denials
• Contact payers for claim status and resolutions

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

• Medical office experience required
• Previous medical billing experience preferred
• Understanding of medical terminology and billing practices
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
• Dedication to providing exceptional patient care and service
