Accounts Receivable Specialist - Knoxville

We're partnering with a stable company in Knoxville, TN to hire an Accounts Receivable Clerk for a fully onsite, temp-to-hire opportunity. This role is a great fit for someone with hands-on AR experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.

Responsibilities
  • Process and post customer payments (checks, ACH, wire)
  • Perform cash application and account reconciliations
  • Generate and send customer invoices
  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate AR aging and customer records
  • Assist with month-end close and reporting
  • Communicate with customers regarding billing and payment status
  • Support the accounting team with general clerical duties
Qualifications
  • 13 years of Accounts Receivable or accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of cash application and reconciliations
  • Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks or similar preferred)
  • Proficiency in Excel and data entry
  • High attention to detail and strong organization skills
  • Ability to work fully onsite in Knoxville
