Sr. Financial Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Financial Analyst / Financial Reporting Analyst to support day-to-day financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting activities for U.S. operations. This temporary role will be instrumental in maintaining continuity during a leadership transition.

Responsibilities

  • Support financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting activities.
  • Ensure continuity during leadership transitions by maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Present financial results and key drivers confidently to leadership.
  • Engage in month-end close processes including accruals, allocations, and journal entry review/approval.
  • Handle hands-on accounting tasks such as journal entries, payroll support, and cash management.
  • Develop and deliver executive presentations of financial analysis results.
  • Collaborate remotely and provide Teams-based training/support.

Essential Skills

  • Strong financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting experience.
  • Expertise in month-end close processes with a 5-day close cycle.
  • Hands-on accounting capability.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and executive presentation skills.
  • ERP system experience and learning agility.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency, including pivot tables and data validation.
  • Independent work style with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to perform under tight deadlines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in project-based, industrial, or manufacturing environments.
  • Exposure to financial consolidation or reporting tools (training provided).
  • Experience presenting financial results to Sr. leadership.

Work Environment

This position requires onsite work five days a week for the first three months to support training and ramp-up, transitioning to a hybrid schedule of three onsite and two remote days after onboarding.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Knoxville, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.29 - $57.69/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
