Accounts Payable Administrator

A rapidly growing mechanical and construction company is seeking an Accounts Payable Administrator to manage full-cycle AP in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the broader accounting team.

Responsibilities
  • Process approximately 1,000 invoices per month, from email capture through posting in Spectrum.
  • Support bi-monthly check runs and assist with month-end AP tasks.
  • Field AP-related calls and provide support with subcontractor administrative duties.
  • Maintain well-organized and accurate AP documentation.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of accounts payable experience, ideally within the construction, HVAC, or mechanical industries.
  • Experience with Spectrum or similar accounting/ERP software preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • No degree required.
  • Fully on-site role consistent and reliable attendance is essential.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Knoxville, TN.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
