Responsible for daily operational functions of the transport program and staff which includes courtesy ambassadors, dispatchers, and transporters. Observes staff and address job performance and/or attendance problems in accordance to policy and procedures. Responsible for new employee orientation, training, CQI participation and assists the unit leader with special projects, employee evaluations, payroll and work scheduling. Responsibilities Completes weekly payroll and updates schedules according to work-flow, holidays and vacations. Monitors patient/transport flow board workflow. Responds to assistance requests. Performs quality control measures for central transportation, i.e., performance reporting. Ensures that all employees receive initial and annual training, documenting each training session and departmental meetings.
