A small, well-established West Knoxville firm is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant who can work independently without being micromanaged, has excellent problem solving and analytical skills, and can manage multiple projects at one time.
Pay: $24.04-$33.65/hr DOE

Responsibilities:

• Full accounting (accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll)
• After the fact bookkeeping and payroll services.
• Prepare and file sales tax return.
• Prepare quarterly payroll tax returns.
• Assist in closing clients' books.
• Other duties as needed

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
• Related work experience in a CPA firm preferred
• Professionalism, dependability, integrity, and trustworthiness combined with a cooperative attitude
• Ability to work extended hours during busy season
