Production Operator - Knoxville, TN

We are seeking reliable and experienced Production Operators for a full-time rotating shift position with a leading plastics manufacturing company in Knoxville, TN. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong manufacturing background who are comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Schedule & Pay:

  • Rotating Shift: 3 days on / 3 days off

    • Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM for 6 weeks - $23.31/hour

    • Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM for 6 weeks - $25.81/hour
  • Must be available to work holidays that fall within your rotation (paid at overtime rate).
Responsibilities:
  • Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure efficient and safe operation.

  • Perform setup, adjustments, and quality checks using calipers and micrometers.

  • Conduct repetitive motions throughout the shift, including standing, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.

  • Maintain product quality in accordance with company and customer standards.

  • Work independently or as part of a team to meet production goals.

  • Communicate clearly and follow instructions from supervisors and team leads.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2+ years of manufacturing experience (Injection Molding experience a plus).

  • Demonstrated longevity in previous positions and excellent references.

  • No history of attendance issues in prior roles.

  • Must be able to work the rotating shift schedule with no accommodations.

  • Previous experience with rotating shifts is a plus but not required.

  • Proficient with measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.

  • Must pass a criminal background check and provide a clear DMV report.
