Java Backend Lead Engineer

Description:
- 9 to 12 years of professional software development experience in Java based enterprise applications.
- Proficiency in Java 8/11, with a good understanding of its ecosystems
- Experience with REST web services incl. microservices
- Experience with Spring / Springboot
- Experience with automated build and deployment pipelining with Armory/Spinnaker
- Experience integrating multiple data sources including Oracle and/or Postgres
- Experience integrating cloud-based applications via AWS queues/topics
- Experience implementing API-level security e.g. token-based
- Experience with Java Unit Testing (such as JUnit)
- Proficient in Git and GitHub
- Proficient in log analysis e.g. Splunk
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Engineering, or relevant field
- Experience in Agile development environment.
- Understanding of security principles such as authentication, authorization, and encryption.
- Experience in OTT domain & Rights management system is a plus
- Design, Develop & maintain enterprise applications in Java, J2EE, spring boot, postgreSQL
- Design, Develop and maintain microservices using Java Spring boot, Redis
- Ensure the application designs conform the business goals.
- Ability to break down the complex problem into workable tasks
- Communicate architectural design using diagrams and written descriptions to mid and sr. level
- Adhere to consistent coding standards and practices.
- Ability to coordinate your work with others in the team
- Participate in technical meetings, quality assurance, peer reviews and code reviews.
