As a Storeroom Clerk, you will:

  • First point of contact in the yard - directs customers and deliveries
  • Keeps track of ticketed materials, properly identifies vehicles and person, attains required legal documentation of customers
  • Assesses weigh materials inbound and outbound into process area, and prices tickets
  • Provide customer service, ensures customers specs and contract requirements are fulfilled
  • Accurate record keeping of contract and deliveries
  • Walk up customer service: driver's license or accurate documentation & back-up for materials sold
  • Accurate identification of material to assign correct value
  • Assesses by grade accurate weight of material orders and issues supplies for visitors and customers entering the yard
  • Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Champion a strong culture of safety throughout all warehouse operations.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
  • Demonstrate dependability through consistent attendance and timely completion of work.
  • Perform daily housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Use warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP) to complete daily tasks.

What You'll Need:

  • Strong computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a storeroom or warehouse environment.
  • Understanding of inventory control systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability and willingness to learn all aspects of storeroom operations.

Your Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
