What You'll Do

You'll be part of a dynamic team to:

• Lead cost estimating and modeling for purchased parts, materials, and assemblies.
• Build and refine should-cost models to guide sourcing and engineering decisions.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities through data analysis and value engineering.
• Reverse engineer parts, components, and assemblies to analyze construction, materials, and cost drivers.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders across the business.
• Support validation and qualification of new components.

Your insights will help Malibu Boats deliver quality and value, driving smarter decisions and continuous improvement.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in cost analysis, reverse engineering, or value engineering.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with cost modeling tools (e.g., aPriori, Facton).
• Experience interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and project management abilities.
