The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance across commercial facilities. This role supports the safe, efficient operation of building systems by completing work orders, responding to service requests, and assisting with ongoing facility upkeep. The ideal candidate is dependable, hands-on, and comfortable working across multiple building systems and trades.

Your main Tasks:
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on a variety of building systems.
Respond to and complete work orders in a timely and professional manner
Troubleshoot and repair common facility issues such as leaks, lighting failures, minor electrical issues, and HVAC-related concerns
Conduct regular inspections of buildings, equipment, and grounds to identify maintenance needs
Perform general building maintenance including painting, drywall repair, basic carpentry, and door or hardware adjustments
Accurately document work performed, materials used, and service activity in work order or mobile systems
Coordinate with supervisors, vendors, and contractors when specialized repairs are required
Participate in after-hours or emergency maintenance as part of an on-call rotation
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition
Experience or Certification needed:
Previous experience in facilities maintenance, building maintenance, or a hands-on role
Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems
Ability to troubleshoot issues and work independently or as part of a team
Ability to read and follow work orders, manuals, and basic technical documentation
Valid drivers license with acceptable driving record
You need to be able to:

Work 8-10 hour per days and overtime when necessary.
On call availability.
Work in extremes of heat, cold and bad weather, indoors and outdoors.
Stand and walk throughout the workday, and lift/carry up to 60 lbs.
Work efficiently in confined spaces.
Work reaching above shoulders, crawling, squatting, kneeling, bending.
