Description:

Lead End-to-End Supply Chain Transformation in a Global Industrial Manufacturing Environment

Our client — a rapidly growing global manufacturer — is investing heavily in building a world-class supply chain organization to support its North American growth.

This is a rare opportunity to lead transformation, shape strategy, and drive measurable impact across sourcing, materials, logistics, and warehousing.

The Opportunity

As Director of Supply Chain, you'll own full-cycle performance across sourcing, materials, and logistics — strengthening availability, cost efficiency, and service levels through disciplined process and data-driven execution.

This is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in dynamic, growth-oriented manufacturing environments and enjoys balancing strategic vision with operational excellence.

What You'll Do

? Lead and develop a high-performance supply chain team across sourcing, materials, warehousing, and logistics.

? Drive sourcing strategy for critical categories — metals, electrical components, engineered materials — ensuring cost, quality, and continuity.

? Implement planning and inventory systems (MRP, min/max, reorder points) to optimize working capital and service.

? Strengthen supplier partnerships through strategic negotiations and performance management.

? Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and sales to align sourcing and production strategies.

? Establish KPIs, dashboards, and best practices to improve cost, lead time, and supplier reliability.

? Act as a strategic advisor on market trends, risks, and investment priorities.

What You'll Bring

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in supply chain or operations within manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Proven track record leading multi-site or matrixed teams through transformation or scale-up.
  • Expertise in sourcing, materials management, and logistics optimization.
  • Strong commercial and operational acumen with ERP/MRP and analytics proficiency (Excel, Power BI preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering (MBA preferred).
  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Executive visibility and global impact.
  • Autonomy to shape the future supply chain organization.
  • A collaborative culture focused on accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Competitive compensation, benefits, and career advancement within a global enterprise.
