Join Our Night Shift Team as a Medical Laboratory Technician Job Description: - Position Type: Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) - Shift: Nights - 6 PM to 6:30 AM, 3x12's with alternating weekends - Call: No call requirements - Floating: Flexibility to float to lab as needed - Scheduling: No 48-hour option, no block scheduling Requirements: - Experience: - Preferred: Chemistry, hematology, and Blood Bank experience - Minimum: 1 year of experience - Education: - Associate degree from an accredited Medical Lab Technician program or equivalent - Recognized by the U.S. Department of Education - Certification: - Valid MLT certification through TN State Licensure, ASCP, AMT, AAB, HHS, or an equivalent accrediting agency (TN State license preferred) - OR: - High school graduate or equivalent, with successful completion of a U.S. military medical laboratory procedures training course of at least 50 weeks duration, and holding the military enlisted occupational specialty of Medical Laboratory Specialist (Laboratory Technician) - Scrub Color: Gray Key Responsibilities: - Perform diagnostic testing on patient samples to aid physicians in diagnosing and/or monitoring various disease states - Follow standardized procedures and prepare samples for testing - Analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits - Rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals - Conduct a variety of tasks requiring a degree of creativity and latitude - Typically report to a manager or supervisor Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
