A company is looking for a VP of Design & Cost Engineering.Key ResponsibilitiesOversees design and cost engineering work across the entire development lifecycleManages internal resources and external consultants for engineering studies and drawing packagesDevelops engineering-related project budgets and maintains relationships with 3rd party consultantsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience in engineering consultancy or solar/BESS contractingKnowledge of engineering studies, codes, and best practices for solar design and EPC constructionAbility to assess pricing and design guidance at varying levels of site diligenceWorking knowledge of commodity pricing, labor rates, and union ratesDemonstrated ability to lead discussions and manage project-level details effectively
