Role Description

We are seeking a part-time Member Service Representative to join our team at our Knoxville, TN location. This is an on-site role. The Member Service Representative will provide excellent customer service by addressing member inquiries, assisting with account management, and processing financial transactions. Daily responsibilities will include handling phone and in-person interactions, promoting credit union products and services, and ensuring accurate and efficient operations. The role also involves responding to member concerns and providing solutions in alignment with our values of service and integrity.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills, including exceptional communication and phone etiquette
• Customer service experience with the ability to provide a positive member experience
• Computer literacy, including proficiency with standard office software and financial systems
• Basic understanding of finance and banking principles
• Problem-solving skills and ability to handle inquiries with professionalism and empathy
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field is a plus
• Previous experience in a financial institution is an advantage
• Previous experience in JHA Symitar core is an advantage
• Willing to work part time 5 days a week, weekdays only.

Pay Range

$16-$21 per hour depending on experience
