OverviewThis is a traveling position, as a CCTV Project Technician, you will primarily work in Walmart stores across various locations, focusing on the installation, upgrading, servicing, and maintenance of CCTV systems. This is a great role for those who thrive in nighttime environments, as night shifts are common.TravelDepending on the project, travel would be anywhere from 3-4 days at a time up to 2 weeks at a time, a chance to see different places while working.Per-diem provided for overnight stays during travel.Drive time and mileage compensation when using your personal vehicle during travel.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, troubleshoot, and maintain modern CCTV systems.Run low voltage cabling, including drilling and minor conduit work in commercial settings.Ensure installations meet customer expectations, contracts, and regulatory standards.Work closely with team leads and project managers to ensure smooth project execution and timely equipment delivery.RequirementsProven experience in CCTV installation, Cat 6 cabling, conduit work, and networking.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and site maps.Proficient in troubleshooting network switches.Must have basic telecommunication tools, PPE, and reliable transportation (company vehicle provided post-training).Knowledge of cabling infrastructure; experience with conduit installation is a plus.Job TypeFull-timePay$25.00 - $40.00 per hour, based on experience and location.Company-paid Medical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription Coverage.Life, AD&D, and Long-Term Disability Insurance.Generous Paid Vacation and Holidays.Access to Teladoc & TriaHealth for healthcare support.401(k) and IRA retirement savings plans with company match.This position offers a rewarding combination of hands-on technical work and travel opportunities.
