We pride ourselves on professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence in every aspect of our business.Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and highly organized Staff Accountant to join our growing team. This position will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting the company's financial reporting and compliance needs.Key ResponsibilitiesApply and reconcile reservation payments from platforms such as Airbnb within the property management system (PMS), ensuring accuracy and completenessPerform manual entry and verification of payment data to maintain accurate financial recordsComplete backend setup and financial configuration for onboarding new vacation rental properties into the PMSProcess and pay vendor invoices, including cleaning and maintenance services, ensuring proper coding and approvalManage and pay utility bills and other recurring expenses for assigned propertiesPrepare and submit monthly tax payments to local tax authorities, maintaining proper documentation and complianceReview and analyze property-level expenses in collaboration with internal teams to ensure accuracy and identify discrepanciesAssist with maintaining organized financial records and supporting internal reporting processesCommunicate with internal stakeholders and vendors to resolve billing issues and ensure smooth financial operationsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.2+ years of accounting experience (hospitality, property management, or real estate experience a plus).Strong knowledge of GAAP.Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel.Excellent organizational and time management skills.High attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.Preferred SkillsExperience with vacation rental or property management accounting.Familiarity with booking platforms and owner statement processes.Previous remote workCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience.Flexible work schedule (remote/hybrid options available).Company health plan, 401(k), paid time off and holidays.Opportunities for professional development.How to ApplyPlease send your resume and a short note expressing interest to victoriabrekke@southernholidayhomes.comThis is a remote position.#J-18808-Ljbffr
