This role also contributes to outage planning, equipment rebuilds, continuous improvement initiatives, and small capital or major repair projects while supporting safety, quality, and environmental objectives. Key Responsibilities: Troubleshoot mechanical equipment and systems to restore production flow Provide technical guidance, coaching, and training to craft and maintenance employees Serve as direct technical support to the maintenance organization Respond to equipment issues and trouble calls as part of a shared 24/7 support structure Analyze equipment behavior and recurring issues to identify root causes and long‑term solutions Support outage planning, downtime execution, and follow‑up on maintenance actions Assist with justification, specification, and coordination of equipment rebuilds, repairs, and upgrades Participate in and support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives Apply lean manufacturing and structured problem‑solving methods to improve equipment performance Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and engineering to resolve technical issues Support process engineering efforts related to mechanical equipment and systems Adhere to all safety, quality, and operational standards Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution Minimum of 3 years of experience working with industrial mechanical systems Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship Preferred Qualifications: Associate or bachelor's degree in a technical discipline 5 or more years of experience supporting mechanical systems in an industrial environment Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and operating equipment Experience performing product or process failure analysis Familiarity with reliability and continuous improvement methodologies Exposure to combustion or gas‑fired systems Strong maintenance background with hands‑on equipment experience Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to work across departments and with cross‑functional teams Proficiency with standard computer and office tools Interested in hearing more?
