The role is responsible for coordinating planned and unplanned maintenance work, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives while reinforcing safety and performance expectations. Key Responsibilities: Supervise mechanical and electrical craft employees and provide day‑to‑day leadership Serve as a technical resource for maintenance guidance and troubleshooting Execute planned and unplanned maintenance work to meet departmental goals Coordinate and prioritize repairs to minimize equipment downtime Respond to critical maintenance issues as part of an on‑call rotation Follow up on equipment issues and support development of long‑term solutions Lead continuous improvement activities alongside maintenance and production teams Support standardized processes and operational discipline within the department Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and operational procedures Utilize maintenance and enterprise systems for work tracking, documentation, and communication Lead small teams of production employees on an as‑needed basis Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience with direct reports Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting in an industrial environment Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship Preferred Qualifications: Associate's or bachelor's degree in a technical discipline 5 or more years of experience in heavy industrial maintenance Strong working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems Experience with PLC troubleshooting and hydraulic systems Prior supervisory experience in a union manufacturing environment Experience supervising production employees Strong collaboration, communication, and customer focus Proficiency with standard computer and reporting tools Interested in hearing more?
