Exciting Night Shift Opportunity for Medical Lab Technicians Job Description: - Start: ASAP - Shift: Nights - 6 PM to 6:30 AM - 3x12's with alternating weekends - NO Call - Floating to Lab Required - No 48 Hour Option - No Block Scheduling Requirements: - Experience in Chemistry, Hematology, and Blood Bank preferred - Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience - Associate degree from an accredited Medical Lab Technician program or equivalent as recognized by the U.S. Department of Education preferred - Valid MLT certification through TN State Licensure, ASCP, AMT, AAB, HHS, or equivalent accrediting agency required. TN State license is preferred. - OR - Meet CLIA: On or before April 24, 1995, be a high school graduate or equivalent, and successfully complete an official U.S. military medical laboratory procedures training course of at least 50 weeks duration, while holding the military enlisted occupational specialty of Medical Laboratory Specialist (Laboratory Technician) Additional Details: - Scrub Color: Gray - EMR: Cerner - Perform diagnostic testing on patient samples to assist physicians in diagnosing and/or monitoring various disease states - Follow standardized procedures and help prepare samples for testing - Analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits - Requires a bachelor's degree and must be a certified medical technologist - Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the laboratory field - Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals - Performs a variety of tasks requiring some creativity and latitude - Typically reports to a manager or supervisor Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
