Leads exercise classes for various fitness levels, providing a safe, fun and effective class structure in a professional, friendly and motivating manner. Supports and promotes the wellness center both internally and externally. Essential Functions. All team members are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Prisma Health's purpose: Inspire health. Serve with compassion. Be the difference. Conducts group exercise classes: Follows Industry guidelines and standards on safe, approved exercises. Modifies classes based on skill level and health status. Motivates and encourages at all classes. Promotes the philosophy of cross training and encourages members to explore all types of classes offered at the wellness center. Attempts to know members by name and takes a professional interest in their health goals. Arrives 10 minutes early and stays 10 minutes after class. Handles inquiries regarding the exercise classes.
